Which audio formats are accepted?

MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG/Opus, AAC, AMR, and 3GP, among other common audio formats. No need to convert before uploading. If what you have is a video file (MP4, MOV, MKV), use the transcribe video page: we extract the audio automatically.

How do I transcribe audio recorded on my phone?

On Android, the Recorder app saves M4A or MP3; on iPhone, Voice Memos saves M4A. Open the recording, tap share or save to files, then upload the file on this page. You can upload straight from the gallery or file manager, no computer needed.

What are the duration and size limits?

On the free plan, 2 transcriptions per account, up to 10 minutes each. If the audio is longer, we transcribe the first 10 minutes and you decide whether you want the rest. With Rollin Ferramentas Pro, up to 2 hours per file with no limit on quantity. Files up to 500 MB.

Is it really free? Do I need an account?

Free: you sign in with just your email (you get a 6-digit code, no password) and have 2 transcriptions of up to 10 minutes. Need more? Rollin Ferramentas Pro unlocks unlimited transcriptions and files up to 2 hours; the price is in the Pro block on this page, with a 7-day pass if you only need it for a week.

Which languages does it support?

English, Portuguese, and Spanish, among others. Leave it on "Detect automatically" or choose the language of the audio. If the recording mixes languages, pick the dominant one for a better result.

How accurate is the transcription?

Well-recorded audio with one person speaking at a time and little noise comes out nearly perfect. Background music, several voices at once, slang, and proper names may need touch-ups, which is why the text is editable on screen before you copy it. The transcript comes as flowing text without separating speakers; if you need that, see the transcribe interview page.

Is the audio stored or shared?

It is not stored. The audio is sent encrypted and transcribed by an infrastructure provider contracted by Rollin Host only to produce the text. The file is deleted right after processing and, in any case, within one day. We never sell or share the content with anyone.

Does it work with WhatsApp, Telegram, or meeting audio?
