Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Rollin Host account to use it?
No. Rollin Bio is free and open — anyone can create a bio without signing up with an email or password. We only ask for a privacy consent to process your data (name, bio, links).
Can I edit it later?
Yes. When you create your bio, you receive a secret edit URL (with a unique token). Bookmark it — whoever has the link can edit. Without the token, nobody can touch your bio.
What if I lose my edit link?
Bios created or opened in your browser are saved automatically at /link-na-bio/minhas-bios — open that page and yours appears ready to edit. Switched computers? Use /link-na-bio/recuperar and we will send the link to the email or WhatsApp you provided at creation.
Is there a limit on clicks or views?
No. Use it as much as you want. If a bio starts getting extreme traffic (>100k clicks/day), we will reach out to understand the situation and migrate to a dedicated plan if needed.
Can I use my own domain?
For now, all bios live at rollinhost.com.br/bio/<yourname>. Custom domain support (e.g. links.yourcompany.com) is on the roadmap — let us know if you need it so we can prioritize.
How does analytics work?
Each bio has 2 counters: views (how many times the page was opened) and clicks (link clicks). Per link, we count hits separately. We do not use third-party cookies or track visitors — we only store a hashed IP for rough deduplication.
Can I temporarily unpublish my bio?
Yes. In the editor, check "Unpublished" — the page returns a 404 without deleting your data. Re-publish whenever you want, nothing is lost.
What happens if I publish inappropriate content?
Rollin Host reserves the right to block bios containing illegal content, scams, phishing, or anything that violates our Acceptable Use Policy. Each case is reviewed manually — report violations to abuse@rollinhost.com.br.
Already created your bio and lost the edit link?
For now, the edit link is the only way to edit a bio (email recovery is in development). If you optionally added an email at creation, send a request to contato@rollinhost.com.br with your bio slug (e.g. @myname) and we will verify it manually and send you a new link.
