By default, each number you connect goes out through a different IP. That protects the reputation of all your numbers: one block does not drag the others down.
Without per-number IP
All numbers go out through the same server IP. To WhatsApp, it looks like "several accounts in the same place" — bot-farm vibes. One banned number brings down trust in the others (domino effect).
With per-number IP — our default
Each number goes out through its own IP, like real, independent accounts. One number's problem does not contaminate the others. Enabled automatically, you touch nothing.
It's an unofficial API from a third-party provider — and that's fine, as long as you know
This API connects directly to WhatsApp (it's not Meta's Cloud API). It's the affordable and flexible option for automation, notices, and bots. In exchange, it's subject to WhatsApp's policies: with responsible use the blocking risk is low, but mass messaging to cold contacts doesn't belong here — it burns the number and violates our anti-spam policy.
The API technology comes from a third-party provider and the transport is WhatsApp itself. Rollin acts as reseller, integrator, and support: we handle provisioning, connection, and assistance. Availability and stability depend on the provider and WhatsApp — instabilities in those layers are outside our control.

Is this Meta's official API?
No. It's an unofficial API that connects directly to WhatsApp (via QR code, like WhatsApp Web). It's the affordable option for automation, notices, and bots. If you need zero blocking risk and business verification, see our Official Meta API.
Can my number get blocked?
Yes, it can — being unofficial, it's subject to WhatsApp's policies. With responsible use (support, automation with people who know you, consented notices) the risk is low. What triggers blocks is misuse: mass messaging to cold contacts, spam, suspicious links. For risk-free marketing campaigns at scale, the way to go is the Official API.
Do my numbers share the same IP? How do you protect reputation?
No. By default, each number you connect goes out through its own IP (internal proxy included, at no extra cost). That protects everyone's reputation: if one number gets blocked, it does not drag the others down — unlike when everything goes through the same server IP, which WhatsApp reads as a "bot farm". Enabled automatically.
What can I do with it?

Does it integrate with n8n, Make, and my system?
Yes. The API is standard REST + webhook, so it connects with n8n, Make, chatbots, and any system that makes HTTP requests. We share the documentation and help with the first connection.
Is there a message limit?
Sending through the API is unlimited — you don't pay per message. But that's not a license to spam: cold mass messaging violates our anti-spam policy and is what takes numbers down the most. Use responsibly.
How do I connect my number?
After subscribing, go to Rollin's panel (My services), scan the QR code with the number's WhatsApp, and done. The same screen shows the API base URL and token, and you set up the webhook (n8n, your system) — all in the panel.

We don't recommend it on an unofficial API — it's the use that most leads to blocks, and cold blasting violates our anti-spam policy. For transactional marketing and campaigns at scale safely, the right product is the Official Meta API.
