Unlock the domain at your current provider
In your current registrar’s panel (GoDaddy, HostGator, Locaweb, registro.br, etc.), look for "Domain Lock" or "Transfer Lock" and disable it. On registro.br it is "Liberar transferência".

Get the authorization code (EPP)
For international TLDs (.com, .net, .org, .io), the current registrar emails the EPP/Auth-Code. For .com.br no code is needed — registro.br processes it via email acceptance.

Will I lose my site/email during the transfer?
No. The transfer only changes the REGISTRAR (who manages it), not the DNS. Your site and email keep responding through the configured servers. Change the DNS here only after the transfer completes (recommended).
Is there a cost to transfer?
We do not charge a transfer fee. But the transfer includes +1 year of registration (market standard, except .ai which is +2 years). You are basically paying an early renewal that is absorbed by the new registrar.
How long does it take?
It depends on the TLD. .com.br: 1-3 business days. .com/.net/.org: 5-7 days (ICANN rule). .ai: 3-5 days. In all cases, the domain keeps working the whole time.
What is the EPP/Auth-Code?
A password generated by the current registrar that authorizes the transfer. For ICANN-managed TLDs (.com, .net, .org, .io, .ai, etc.) it is mandatory. .com.br does not use it — it processes via email acceptance at registro.br.
What if the transfer fails?
Common causes: a domain less than 60 days from registration/transfer (ICANN rule), a domain expiring in <7 days, a wrong EPP code, an administrative contact locked in the WHOIS. We notify you by email and WhatsApp with instructions to resolve it — and we refund if you prefer to cancel.
Can I transfer several domains at once?
Yes. In the panel you add them all to the same cart and process them in bulk. For large portfolios (10+ domains), talk to support — we add them to the panel manually so you do not have to type them one by one.
