Refund Policy

Rollin Host fully complies with the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code — you have a statutory 7-day withdrawal right for any service. For Web Hosting and WordPress/WooCommerce Hosting we also offer an extended benefit: a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

1. Overview

As a Brazilian company, we fully comply with the Consumer Protection Code (Lei 8.078/90, Art. 49 — CDC): you are entitled to a 7 calendar-day withdrawal right for any service purchased online, counted from the payment date.

Additionally, we offer an extended 30-day satisfaction guarantee on select products. If you are not satisfied within that period, we refund 100% of the amount paid — no questions asked, no red tape.

2. Products with a 30-day guarantee

Unconditional 30-calendar-day guarantee. Cancel within that window and we refund 100% — no questions asked.
  • Web Hosting — all plans: Pouso, Decola and Orbita (view plans).
  • WordPress and WooCommerce Hosting — RLN WP and RLN WP Pro lines (view plans).

The period starts on the payment transaction date of the initial purchase. Renewals follow the rule in the Automatic Renewal Policy: full refund within 7 days of the renewal charge.

3. 7-day statutory withdrawal right (CDC)

All other products are governed by the statutory 7 calendar days from the payment date, in accordance with Art. 49 of the CDC (Brazilian Consumer Protection Code):

  • VPS Cloud (Pro 10 to Pro 60) and AI Server (IA 10 to IA 60)
  • VPS for n8n (Start, Pro and Boost)
  • Cloud and Dedicated Servers (Falcon, Hawk, Eagle, Condor, Phoenix and Dragon)
  • GPU Server (Ada and Blackwell) and LLM Server (Inference and Pro)
  • Managed Vector DB (Qdrant, Weaviate, Milvus, pgvector)
  • WhatsApp AI Agent, Hermes Agent and Open Claw
  • Business E-mail (Essencial, Sync and Exchange), Titan Email and Google Workspace

These products involve immediate provisioning of dedicated infrastructure and costs with suppliers and licensors — which is why they follow the statutory period, which fully preserves your right to try and withdraw.

A cancellation requested after 7 days does not entitle you to a refund; however, you may request cancellation of the automatic renewal at any time — simply open a ticket at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

4. Plan upgrades and downgrades

Summary: upgrades take effect immediately, charging only the pro-rated difference; downgrades take effect at the next renewal, with no refund of the difference for the current cycle.

Plan changes within the same product (for example, between VPS plans) follow these rules:

  • Upgrade: may be requested at any time. We charge only the pro-rated difference for the remainder of the cycle already paid — the amount already paid is not lost; it is fully credited toward the new plan.
  • Downgrade: is scheduled and takes effect at the next renewal. The price difference for the current cycle is not refunded in cash; where a remaining amount applies, it is converted into account credit usable on any service.
  • Guarantee periods: an upgrade or downgrade does not restart the 30-day guarantee or the 7-day withdrawal period — both always count from the original purchase.
  • Technical limitations: on VPS and servers, disk space cannot be reduced on the same server; downgrading to a plan with less storage requires new provisioning and data migration (our team will guide you through the process).

5. Non-refundable products

Please note: the items below are non-refundable under any circumstances (except for the specific domain rules in section 6).
  • Automatic renewals processed after the cancellation deadline
  • AI/LLM/GPU/token credits already consumed
  • Paid migrations already successfully completed
  • Paid SSL certificates already issued
  • Third-party licenses and services already activated (Google Workspace, Titan Email, panel licenses)
  • Setup, installation and configuration fees already performed, as well as consulting and technical services already rendered by our team
  • Consumed add-ons (extra storage, additional IPs already provisioned, etc.)
  • Services suspended or terminated due to violation of the Terms of Service

Installation and configuration work already performed. When a service includes setup, installation, migration or configuration carried out by our team, that work is a service effectively rendered and is non-refundable — even if the request is made within the 30-day guarantee or the 7-day withdrawal period. In such cases, the amount corresponding to the technical hours and support tickets in which our team worked on the installation, configuration and support is deducted from the refund; any remaining amount is refunded normally.

The refund guarantee exists so you can evaluate our services before committing. Repeated refund requests for the same service, bulk purchases followed by refunds, or other abusive patterns may be declined at Rollin Host's sole discretion.

6. Domain-specific rules

Domains follow their own rules, as they are registered with external authorities (Registro.br, ICANN, etc.):

  • .com.br / .net.br / .br domains: refundable if requested within 168 hours (7 days) of registration.
  • Generic domains (.com, .net, .org, etc.): refundable within 96 hours of registration, provided more than 24 hours have elapsed since the last domain refund.
  • Non-activated domains: refundable within 30 days if activation is not completed.
  • Domain transfer: refundable only if the transfer was not successful, within 30 days of payment.
  • Domain renewal: non-refundable (once renewed, the payment goes directly to the registrar).
  • Free domain included in annual offers is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for another domain or product.

7. How to request a refund

  1. Open a ticket in the client portal or contact us via WhatsApp at (19) 3199-2720.
  2. Provide the invoice number and the service to be refunded.
  3. Briefly describe the reason — helpful for our improvements, but not required within the guarantee period.
  4. The refund is processed within 2 business days.
  5. The refund is issued to the original payment method (credit card, Pix or bank slip).

Credit card payment

The credit appears on the statement within up to 2 billing cycles, according to the card issuer's policy.

Pix payment (Brazilian instant transfer)

Returned via Pix to the originating key/account within 2 business days.

Bank slip (boleto bancario) payment

Since bank slips do not support automatic reversal, the refund is made via bank transfer (TED/Pix) to the current account of the CPF/CNPJ holder of the contract. Transfers to savings accounts are not made. We will request:

  • Copy of a government-issued photo ID (national ID, driver's license or passport)
  • CPF or CNPJ (Brazilian tax identification number)
  • Proof of address
  • Bank, branch and current account number

8. Refund to account credit

Please note: once you choose to receive the refund as account credit, the amount becomes irrevocable — it cannot later be converted back to the original payment method.

By default, refunds are returned to the original payment method. If you prefer, you may choose to receive the amount as credit in your Rollin Host account and apply it to any other service immediately.

9. Payment disputes (chargeback)

If you have any doubt or issue with a payment, please contact us first before filing a dispute with your card issuer. We resolve the vast majority of cases within hours.

When Rollin Host receives a chargeback without a prior contact attempt, it is treated as a breach of contract. In that event:

  • The account may be suspended immediately, without prior notice.
  • Domains and active services registered under the client's name may be blocked.
  • Card payments may be disabled on the account to reduce fraud risk.
  • In cases of evident fraud (e.g., cloned card), termination is permanent.

To reactivate services, the client must provide proof of payment (photo of the card showing the first 6 and last 4 digits, or bank statement) and settle any administrative fees charged by the card issuer.

10. Changes to this policy

This Refund Policy may be updated periodically. Significant changes will be communicated through our official channels with a minimum notice of 30 days. The version in force at any time is the one published on this page.
