Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
The Instagram feed uses 1080 px wide; the LinkedIn banner, 1584 x 396. Set the limit and the photo arrives at the right size, without the app over-compressing it.
Enter a maximum width and height in pixels or a percentage. The aspect ratio is kept, the image is never upscaled unless you ask, and everything happens in your browser.
Result
Everything happens in your browser: no image is sent to a server.
The image is opened and redrawn by your own browser, using the same engine that displays photos on web pages. No file is sent to a server, nothing is stored and, once the page has loaded, the tool keeps working even without internet.
Drag up to 20 JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF or BMP files, or tap Choose images to pick them from your gallery.
A maximum width and height (the image fits inside, without distortion) or a percentage of the current size. For the Instagram feed, 1080 px wide does the job.
Click Resize. The list shows the dimensions before and after. Download each image or all of them in a .zip.

A camera photo is 4000 px or more, and the page only shows 1200. Lowering the resolution before publishing cuts the weight with no visible loss.
Shrink to 50% or cap at 1600 px and the image fits any attachment without being heavy for the recipient.
Twenty product photos down to 800 px in one go, all with the same limit, and the .zip ready to upload to the store.
JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF (first frame only), BMP and AVIF, as long as your browser can open the format. On output, JPG, PNG and WEBP keep their original format, or you pick another one; GIF, BMP and AVIF are saved as JPG unless you choose otherwise.
No. Browsers cannot open HEIC/HEIF, so the tool warns you and skips the file. On iPhone, go to Settings, Camera, Formats and choose Most Compatible to shoot in JPG, or share the photo as JPG first.
Up to 20 images per batch, at most 25 MB each. They all get the same size limit, are processed one after another, and you download each result or all of them in a .zip.
If you keep the PNG or WEBP format, transparency is preserved. If you choose JPG, which has no transparency, the transparent areas are filled with the background color chosen in the tool, white by default.
80 to 90 is the sweet spot: the difference from 100 is invisible to the eye and the file gets much smaller. Below 70, blocks start showing up in flat areas and around text edges. PNG does not use this setting because it is a lossless format.
No. The whole resize runs in your browser: the files never leave your computer or phone, are not stored in any database and are seen by no one. Close the tab and it is gone.
Yes. Once the page has loaded, the tool does not depend on a connection: you can switch off Wi-Fi and keep resizing.
Resizing changes the number of pixels: a 4000 px photo becomes 1920 px, for example. Compressing keeps the dimensions and reduces the weight by adjusting quality. Upscaling an image creates no new detail, only blurry pixels, which is why the tool never upscales by default: images smaller than the limit stay as they are. If you really need it, tick Allow upscaling.
