TL;DR
For Windows Server backup, Rollin Host storage works as the SFTP destination for free tools like Kopia and Duplicati: client-side encryption, deduplication, automatic schedule and versioning. Plans from 1 TB (R$ 79.90/mo) to 10 TB (R$ 379.90/mo), no traffic charges, with ransomware-proof snapshots. Assisted setup with a technical document for R$ 297.
Set it up in 4 steps
-
Order the storage
Size it by data volume plus version history (1.5x the current size is a good start). Access arrives in minutes.
-
Install Kopia on the server
Download KopiaUI (free, open source) on the Windows Server and create an SFTP repository with the panel credentials. Set a strong encryption password and store it in a vault.
-
Set folders, schedule and retention
Select critical folders, schedule hourly copies and configure retention (e.g. 24 hourly, 7 daily, 4 weekly, 12 monthly) plus e-mail alerts.
-
Test a restore
Restore one file into a test folder and check it. Repeat monthly: a backup that was never restored is an assumption.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work with open files, like spreadsheets in use?
Yes. On Windows, tools like Kopia use VSS (shadow copy) to copy in-use files consistently.
Is the data readable on the storage?
No. Encryption happens on your server before upload. Only encrypted blocks reach the storage; not even our team can read the content. Keep the repository password safe: without it there is no recovery.
Can you set it up for me?
Yes. Assisted Setup (R$ 297, one-time) covers the full installation on 1 server, with a restore test and a technical document of the setup delivered at the end.
How much does the storage cost?
Topázio (1 TB) at R$ 79.90/mo, Esmeralda (5 TB) at R$ 199.90/mo and Diamante (10 TB) at R$ 379.90/mo (billed in Brazilian reais). No lock-in: cancel or change plans anytime.
Are there traffic or request charges?
No. The price is flat for the contracted capacity. Uploads, downloads and requests never add charges — the first full copy and any restores do not change your invoice.
