Does Hyper Backup really work with this storage?
Yes. Hyper Backup’s WebDAV destination connects directly to our storage; rsync users are covered too. Nothing extra to install on DSM.
How long does the first copy take?
It depends on data volume and your upload speed. The first copy carries everything; afterwards Hyper Backup only sends changes. The task can be paused and resumed without losing progress.
What if the NAS is hit by ransomware?
The storage keeps automatic read-only snapshots the NAS cannot delete or encrypt — an extra layer on top of Hyper Backup’s own versions.
How much does the storage cost?
