Frequently asked questions
Isn’t cloud sync the same thing?
No. Sync replicates deletions and corruption: whatever ransomware does on the NAS, sync copies outside. Backup keeps versions, and read-only snapshots on our side guarantee the way back.
Can my internet handle it?
The first copy is the heavy one and may take days — it runs in the background and resumes where it stopped. After that only daily changes travel, usually minutes per night.
I have several NAS boxes or clients with NAS. How do I organize?
Create a sub-account with an isolated folder for each NAS from the panel. Each device sees only its own folder — ideal for MSPs supporting several clients too.
