Frequently asked questions
Does Restic handle slow links well?
Yes. After the first copy, Restic only uploads new or changed blocks (deduplication); daily runs usually take minutes.
Can I keep several repositories on one storage?
Yes. Use different paths (/home/restic-app1, /home/restic-db...) or isolated sub-accounts created from the panel, one per server.
How do I protect the backup from an attacker on the server?
Besides the repository password, the storage keeps automatic read-only snapshots on our side: even if the repository is wiped from the server, you can roll back to the previous snapshot.
How much does the storage cost?
