On a regular VPS, the CPU is split among several customers, and performance can fluctuate when a "neighbor" consumes a lot of resources. With a dedicated vCPU, performance is constant and predictable 24/7.
Is it a bare-metal server (an exclusive physical machine)?
No — and we make a point of being transparent about that. This line is a VPS with a dedicated vCPU: you have exclusive CPU cores, but within a virtualized infrastructure (it is not a whole physical machine just for you). In practice, for 99% of production cases the performance difference is irrelevant — what matters is not sharing the CPU, and that you have. If you specifically need physical bare-metal, talk to us.
